| Welcome to Freedom Tours. Our 2011 Giro d'Italia event is a serious cycling event around the Great Lakes of northern Italy. It is the closest an amateur rider can get to a professional cycle event. Three days of challenging riding, followed by watching one of the greatest cycling spectacles, the finale of the Giro d'Italia.
What else makes our event special? The ‘Freedom Tours’ Events Team are behind some of the most successful cycle sportive rides in Britain and France. The level of organisation and planning is comparable to the Londres-Paris.com and Cycle2Cannes.org. Why choose our ride? A ‘Freedom Tour’ offers a ‘rolling closed road’. Each group is lead by a pace car and flanked by motorbike riders, who stop other road users as the ‘peloton’ passes through. Right into capital cites. We are the only ride offering this to the amateur rider in Italy.
